Almost a decade ago I was in Lagos, Nigeria, to sell a banking software solution.  During my stay at a hotel in Lagos, I had an unplanned meeting with the owner of the hotel while having breakfast one morning.  She asked me if I would build the hotel’s website.  By the end of the day she had also asked me to build websites for two other companies that she owned! While my intention for entering Nigeria was to sell banking software, my first order was from a chance meeting with a serial entrepreneur who placed a substantial order after having met me for a few minutes over breakfast one morning.  My flexibility that morning paid great dividends for Olive Technology.Read more
